EPF Claim status: Check PF Claim Status Online 2022

Employees can check EPF status of claim online after applying for withdrawal of their EPF funds. To check online you need to have Universal Account Number (UAN) and some other details which are given below.

How to check EPF claim status Online?

Employees can check EPFO claims status by following any one of the methods given below. All the methods are explained in detail step by step.

1. Using EPFO website
2. Using UAN Portal
3. Give missed call on 011-22901406
4. by sending an SMS to 7738299899
5. Using the Anang App

Method 1 – Using EPFO website

Step 1: Go to the official website of EPFO.
Step 2: Click on ‘For Employees’ under the ‘Our Services’ menu.
Step 3: Click on ‘Know Your Claim Status’ under ‘Services’ section.
Step 4: On the next page, enter his/her UAN and captcha details, then click on ‘Search’.
Step 5: Enter PF Number, Establishment Code, PF Office and State where PF office is present.
Step 6: After entering the above details, click on ‘Submit’.
Step 7: The status of the claim will be displayed on the screen.

Method 2 – Using UAN Portal

Employees can also check the PF status of their claim by logging into their UAN portal. Given below is the process to login to the EPFO portal:

Step 1: Go to the UAN portal (https://unifiedportal mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/).
Step 2: Enter his/her UAN, Password and Captcha details, then click on ‘Sign In’.
Step 3:On the next page, the details of “Online Claim Status” will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Scroll down to check the details of “Transfer Claim Status”.

Method 3 – Give missed call on 011-22901406

Employees can know the status of their claim by giving a missed call on 011-22901406 from their registered mobile number. However, for this, the employee has to link his mobile number with his UAN. The employee will also have to update his Aadhaar, Permanent Account Number (PAN) and bank account details on the UAN portal. No fee is charged from the employee for this Missed call service. Claim details will be received through SMS on the registered mobile number.

Method 4 – Send SMS to 7738299899

Employees can also know the EPFO status of their claim by sending an SMS. Employee has to link his/her mobile with UAN portal and SMS should be sent from that mobile number. The format of the SMS should be “EPFOHO UAN LAN” and should be sent to 7738299899. ‘LAN’ in the format is the language in which the employee wishes to receive the details. Method 5 – Using the UMANG App

Employees can check various details about their PF like available balance, claim status etc. using the Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance (UMANG) app. UMANG App needs to be downloaded and is available on both iOS and Android platforms.

Install UMANG app and login to your EPFO ​​account, you will be redirected to EPFO ​​portal. Now select ‘Employee Centric Services’ and then click on ‘Track Claim’. Here you will see complete details of EPF claim status online 2022.
